[Second Person Name]
Glen Billesbach’s scholarship and teaching sit at the intersection of political theory, international relations, and science and technology studies. His research employs historical, philosophical, and interpretive methods—including interviews with scientists and bureaucrats from organizations such as the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change—to investigate the challenges and opportunities surrounding emerging technologies. Specifically, he addresses the role of technology and expertise in climate change politics and explores how digital tools shape self-interpretation and political agency. As part of the Center for Adaptive Innovation, Resilience, Ethics and Science (CAIRES), he contributes to interdisciplinary scholarship and partnerships aimed at sustainability, social empowerment, and resilient communities. His courses engage foundational and contemporary themes in political thought, sustainability, digital rights and principles, and experiential learning.
